Last night, French Tourist Office held a press conference on "Leonardo da Vinci: 500 years of Renaissance in Center-Loire Valley region of France", which presented typical tourist attractions and experiences of Loire Valley. He also said that in 2019 a number of tourist routes in Renaissance style will be launched in area.

2019 marks 500th anniversary of da Vinci's death and 500th anniversary of erection of royal castle of Chambord. The Center-Loire Valley region is famous for its collection of Renaissance castles. The Loire Valley was once main residence of French kings. During Renaissance, these kings brought in a group of craftsmen, garden designers, architects, and artists from Italy, and they revolutionized art, architecture, and science in Loire Valley, building castles, churches, private mansions, and gardens. Historic innovation!

Today's Centre-Loire Valley region is known as "Garden of France" for its outstanding art of living and architectural heritage.

In addition to castles and castle hotels showcasing French romance and art of living, region has more than 200 wine cellars for tourists and 110 types of regionally representative traditional delicacies. Life in garden

Valerie Henault, owner of Domaine de Poulaines, shared her life in garden with her three children. The Renaissance garden was once owned by Catherine de Medici and is perfect for family events and weddings. There are 1,200 species of plants in this garden, and 300 species of rare trees and shrubs are planted in botanical research garden, of which 90 are from Asia and 64 are from China.

Art photography exhibition

Ms. Sophie Le Berre, Commissioner for Relations with Asia of Regional Center of Chaumont-sur-Loire (Center for Art and Nature) of Center for Art and Nature (Center for Art and Nature) introduced International Garden Festival (Festival International des Jardins) and Jardins 2019 will host an exhibition of artistic photography by famous American photographer Alex McLean on theme of flying over castles of Loire.
