European travel photography: travel to Chamonix, France and see highest peak of Alps.

Mont Blanc, which means "white mountain", rises to 4810 meters above sea level and is highest peak in Alps (also in Western Europe). It is located in southeast of France at junction of Italy and Switzerland.
In a small town at foot of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, there is a cable car that leads directly to Aiguille du Midi, overlooking Mont-Blanc. South Needle Peak is located at an altitude of 3842 m above sea level. The weather at top of mountain is innumerable, and cold and warm scenery on north and south sides is different. The cable car going up and down mountain is divided into two parts. After we take cable car up to top of Aiguille du Midi, we will take cable car back to transit station. mountain and return to Chamonix.
Chamonix is a very beautiful city with just over 8,000 inhabitants, but it is fourth largest city in France. At same time, Chamonix is also one of most famous ski resorts in Europe; in 1924, first Winter Olympic Games were held here. Usually skiing or traveling, most people will take this well developed route to Aiguille du Midi. If you want to climb Mont Blanc, you need to start from Les Houches, another small town near Chamonix, and take funicular up to a hiking trail halfway up mountain.
In 1786, Chamonix physician Michel-Gabriel Paccard was first to conquer Mont Blanc. At present, number of climbers on Mont Blanc is increasing day by day, as well as number of mountain climbers and skiers who come to Chamonix, which has become a famous tourist city in France.
There are many attractions (items) to visit in Chamonix, including searching for alpine lakes hidden in mountains (alpine lakes, there are about a dozen places, you can directly search for "alpine lakes" on map, scenery is magnificent); try climbing Mont Blanc; you can also take cable car up to Aiguille du Midi. It only takes 20 minutes to take cable car up to see 360 degree panorama. I can also buy a three-day ticket when I go. Climb and see every day, if you have nothing to do, feel different "weather and seasons" up and down mountain); or try walking route recommended by Chamonix; you can also go to Montenvers to see glacier (take a train directly from Chamonix and then walk to center of Mer de Glace in ten minutes) or ski in Canyon Blanche (Vallée Blanche, descend back to Chamonix or to Switzerland from Aiguille du Midi cable car station); or take cable car from Plan Praz to Le Brevent (at 2525 meters you can admire southern slopes of Chamonix and Mont Blanc); finally, you can start from small towns of Le Tour and Vallokirne and visit alpine pastures along mountainside.
