Our car was parked in small town of Chamonix among narrow valleys of Alps. In distance, high peaks of Alps rise, covered with snow, and a white glacier descends from Mont Blanc like a huge python. , in a quiet river valley. Walking anywhere in Chamonix, you can see Mont Blanc towering as you look up. Climbing Mont Blanc has become a passion for climbers throughout Europe and even climbers around world. This small town has more than 40 mountain sports facilities, attracting about a million ice and snow sports enthusiasts from all over world every year. Chamonix has long been a world-famous sports paradise.
Chamonix is located in Alps, in France, on border with Switzerland and Italy. It is a breathtakingly beautiful city on narrow plain of Mont Blanc valley, birthplace of modern mountaineering and site of first Winter Olympics in 1924. It is home to a world-class ski trainer training center which is not only an extreme challenge for mountaineers, but also a favorite of skiers. The annual rock climbing competition has also become a sports landscape that attracts tourists to Chamonix.
